Self Check-In from 2:30pm. If you would like to be greeted on arrival with a quick tour of your villa, please get in touch beforehand. You will receive notification of security codes (front gate and front door) 24 hours prior to check-in. 

Check-Out time is 10:00am. Please ensure you have left Monapilla Escape by 10:00am as access codes will expire shortly after.

For cancellations at least 14 days before check-in, a full refund less $100 administration fee will be given.

If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, you’ll receive a 50% refund.

There are no refunds for cancellations within 7 days of your check-in date.

• Only Registered Guests are permitted on the property. Please seek prior permission if you are wanting someone else to have access.  

• Strictly no parties or events. If the accommodation is being used for a wedding, please contact us before booking to discuss your requirements. Note: both accommodations must be booked if being used for a wedding.  

• Noise must be kept to a minimum after dark. At all other times, if it’s loud enough for other guests to hear, it’s too loud. 

• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

• E-bikes are complimentary as we believe they ‘compliment’ our property and allow’s guests to truly experience everything on offer. Please respect the bikes, use the provided padlocks when you’re out and about, and stick to the trails and roads (they aren’t mountain bikes).

• Children are not permitted to use the electric bikes, and are not permitted to ride bikes/scooters on the property.

• No pets. We are a working farm with livestock and wildlife nearby, we cannot allow any animals on the property.

• Valid ID is required at the time of booking. 

• No Smoking on the property, including outside your accommodation. 

• No fires permitted during CFS fire bas season – specific dates are available on CFS website https://www.cfs.sa.gov.au/warnings-restrictions/restrictions/fire-danger-season-dates-permits/#dates

• Fires outside of CFS Fire Ban Season are only permitted in the designated areas (lounge room open fire place, fire tub heating coil and adjacent fire pit). Fires must be attended by a responsible adult at all times. If you have any concerns while having a fire, please contact us immediately, 0418 885 076.  

• Lighting a fire when/where not permitted is against the law and will result in the immediate termination of your stay at Monapilla Escape, and further police prosecution may result.  No refund will be given for early termination of your stay.

• Please leave your accommodation clean and tidy on departure - we do all the cleaning ourselves and we don’t  charge cleaning fees.  However, an additional cleaning fee will be charged if the accommodation is left untidy and/or dirty.  

Monapilla Escape offers plenty to see and do beyond your villa. Wander up to the Bocce Court and windmill to pick some fresh flowers or herbs to go with dinner, and collect some eggs for breakfast. Or really elevate your stay with a private helicopter experience, or for something more down to earth, jump on the complimentary E-bikes for a local cellar door visit. And if you’re really into food and wine, ask about our premium ‘paddock to plate’ lamb and wine experience.

Monapilla Escape is completely off-grid. Our state-of-the-art Power Hub is located just above the windmill and powers everything with 100% green energy, from the front security gates to the reverse-cycle air-conditioning and all appliances in the kitchen.  

We kindly ask you to be mindful of electricity consumption and turn off any non-essential appliances, particularly the reverse cycle air-conditioning, which uses the most amount of electricity. During the summer months, our ceiling fans and the country-fresh air make for very comfortable living, while in winter, there’s no better way to heat the room than with the genuine open fire. Please feel free to make use of the free fire-wood provided at your accommodation.
