There’s plenty to see and do beyond your villa. Wander up to the bocce court and windmill to pick fresh flowers or herbs for dinner, and collect some eggs for breakfast. Elevate your stay with a private helicopter experience, or jump on the complimentary e-bikes for a local cellar-door visit. And if you’re really into food and wine, ask about our premium ‘paddock to plate’ lamb and wine experience.

Monapilla Escape is completely off-grid. Our state-of-the-art Power Hub, just above the windmill, powers everything with 100% green energy, from the front security gates to the reverse-cycle air-conditioning and every appliance in the kitchen.
Being off-grid doesn’t mean sacrificing comfort. Our system has ample capacity for guests to live in comfort, but it never hurts to turn things off when they’re not being used.
Check-in & check-out
Arrival
Self check-in from 3:00pm. Prefer a quick tour on arrival? Let us know beforehand. Security codes arrive a few days ahead.
Departure
Check-out is 10:00am. If a later check-out suits your plans, let us know at booking and we’ll do our best.
Luggage
Secure luggage storage is available. Please get in touch for details.
House rulesA few things to keep it lovely.
- 01Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Please seek prior permission if you would like someone else to have access.
- 02Maximum occupancy is strictly 4 people (including infants) per villa. Our booking software does not currently include infants in the total, so please do not book if you have more than two children wanting to stay.
- 03While children are welcome, our priority is a tranquil, peaceful place for all guests. Children must be well behaved and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
- 04Strictly no parties or events. If the accommodation is being used for a wedding, please contact us before booking to discuss your requirements.
- 05Noise must be kept to a minimum after dark. At all other times, if it's loud enough for other guests to hear, it's too loud.
- 06E-bikes are complimentary. Please respect the bikes, use the provided padlocks when you're out, and stick to the trails and roads (they aren't mountain bikes!).
- 07Children are not permitted to use the e-bikes, or to ride bikes/scooters on the property.
- 08No pets. We are a working farm with livestock and wildlife nearby, so we cannot allow any animals on the property.
- 09No smoking on the property, including outside your accommodation.
- 10No fires permitted during CFS fire-ban season; specific dates are on the CFS website.
- 11Fires (outside the CFS fire-ban season) are only permitted in the designated areas: the lounge-room open fireplace, the fire-tub heating coil, and the adjacent fire pit. Fires must be attended by a responsible adult at all times. If you have any concerns while having a fire, please contact us immediately on 0418 885 076.
- 12Lighting a fire when or where it is not permitted will result in the immediate termination of your stay.
- 13Please leave your accommodation clean and tidy on departure. We don't charge cleaning fees, so we really appreciate it. A cleaning fee will be charged if the accommodation is left untidy and/or dirty.
