We are situated at 365 Rifle Range Rd, McLaren Vale (5171), nestled in the foothills above the town. While our 50-acre property offers secluded, off-grid tranquility, we are still just minutes away from McLaren Vale's world-class wineries, cellar doors, and restaurants.

As your hosts, we strive to provide outstanding service from the moment you book. You can choose whatever check-in style suits you best: opt for an easy self check-in, or let us know if you'd prefer a personal greeting and a quick tour of your accommodation. You will receive a detailed Guest Guidebook well before your arrival date so you can prepare and make the most of your stay.

We have purposely avoided the "tiny home" trend to give our guests plenty of room to breathe. We offer two very spacious, family-friendly villas. Each features:
A master bedroom with an ensuite
A second bedroom and a second bathroom
A generous living area
A private elevated balcony with spectacular views over the vineyards, grazing land, and ocean sunsets.

Yes you can, however rules apply for numbers of guests on the property, and there are no parties or gatherings in one villa. We want your special day to be perfect, so please discuss with us your requirements before making a booking. And we promise not to charge extra just because it’s a wedding.

Yes! Monapilla Escape was built in 2025 with sustainability in mind. We offer an uncompromising, luxury off-grid living experience that allows you to escape urban life without sacrificing comfort.

There is plenty to explore without ever leaving the estate. Guests have exclusive access to the Bocce Hangout Spot, where you can wander through our organic vegetable and flower beds, visit our free-range chickens , or use the included electric bikes for a daily ride through the endless vineyards around McLaren Vale. A special feature of Monapilla Escape is its seclusion and privacy. Located near the end of a country dirt road, and secure behind locked front entrance gates, your privacy is guaranteed. For added security, a CCTV camera is placed at the front gate and one overlooking the carpark at your accommodation. They are clearly visible and are positioned to ensure your privacy is maintained.
A personal valuables safe is located in your accomodation.
To ensure everyone’s privacy and security, only registered guests are permitted at Monapilla Escape. Prior permission is required if you are wanting to make arrangements that require others to enter the property.

Yes, we offer flexible direct bookings for both long and short-term stays. Please check availability on our online booking system

Monapilla Escape sits on 50 acres of beautiful tree studded grazing land, and we are currently planning some exciting new guest experiences. Our working farm is located in the hills above Monapilla Escape, however we are currently not set up to provide access.
